Howth Yacht Club’s legendary spring warmer series runs for three Saturdays, 6 April, 13 April and 20 April, with two races each day.

Time to start planning a road trip to the south of France for 7 – 14 September.
The very experienced Cercle d’Organisation du Yachting de Compétition is hosting the event and you can pre-enter at no charge here and receive information as it becomes available.

Google’s handy driving directions from Roscoff to Hyeres suggests the trip across France is 1,343 kilometers, approximately 12 – 13 hours with several toll roads.
Click the “driving directions” link to see a suggested route plus two others for tolled routes.
Click on “options” then “No Tolls” for cheaper alternative routes, 15 – 16 hours driving.
Local accommodation list is here, plenty of possibilities within easy walking distance from the Club. The club has at least two travel hoists for easy launching into its own marina.

We are planning an event in RCYC in March.
2 Weekends either side of Patricks day. 9/10 and 23/24.
We expect at least 5 boats but are hoping for 10. Entry fee will be about 50 euro for two weekends. We have OOD and ribs organised but will be using it as training also to learn a bit more about tuning etc.
Launching will be by slip.
