NoR for 2008 Nationals 29-31 August

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

SB3 Ireland and the Royal St George Yacht Club would like to invite you to the second Irish SB3 National Championships. We have a wonderful sailing and social programme lined up and we would especially like to encourage overseas entries given the event’s close timing to the World Championships, in an adjacent yacht club in Dun Laoghaire harbour. For those travelling from outside Dublin we are organising convenient boat storage between the two events, free of charge.

As you may be aware the dates of this event were moved forward a week due to severe congestion in Dublin Bay, we apologise for any inconvenience caused, however this was done in the best interests of the event and to ensure the best possible sailing.

Entries can be made online from May 1st at www.rsgyc.ie or posted in immediately; we would also like to highlight the entry limit of 80 boats.

Stenaline
We have arranged discounted travel deals on all Irish Sea crossings with Stena – details available on the event website 1st May.

Accommodation
Special accommodation B&B rates (same rates as Worlds) have been organized for all competitors – advised to make bookings early. Limited number of rooms held. Booking form will be available from the website 1st May.

Looking forward to seeing you on the water!!
Joe Hughes
SB3 Ireland Vice Chairman
